The GASSAN Diamonds workshop is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled goldsmith. A recognised goldsmith qualification is required. Our workshop is a dynamic department within GASSAN. We have a modern and spacious workshop equipped with a laser, various computer-controlled engraving machines, 3D CAD design software and a GRS stone-setting bench. In our workshop, we turn our customers’ wishes into reality — from resizing and repairing existing jewellery to creating unique new designs and setting beautiful diamonds.

We are looking for a goldsmith who:

• Enjoys working in an inspiring environment and has a creative mindset;
• Holds a recognised goldsmith qualification;
• Is available full-time or part-time, for a minimum of 4 days per week;
• Can work both independently and as part of a team;
• Is able to work well under pressure and is precise and customer-oriented;
• Is willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends;
• Has a good command of Dutch and a basic knowledge of English.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Resizing and setting sold jewellery;
• Setting diamonds in our beautiful jewellery;
• Repairing and restoring customers’ jewellery;
• Creating new jewellery and setting diamonds for our customers;
• Advising and supporting the sales team in the showroom;
• Polishing and cleaning jewellery on location, for example during trade shows, to showcase our craftsmanship and expertise.

You will have a varied and challenging position within an enthusiastic team of approximately 12 goldsmiths. We work closely together, support each other whenever needed and value a pleasant working atmosphere.

In addition to working in our workshop, you will also work at other GASSAN locations in Amsterdam. This means that no two days are the same and gives you plenty of opportunities to apply your craftsmanship in different environments.
